Our Story – The Heart Behind Sonatur Skin Care

Sonatur Skin Care was born out of a deeply personal journey.

Founded by Bruce Taylor, Sonatur began as a tribute to his late father who struggled with psoriasis for most of his adult life. Bruce recalls childhood memories filled with the smell of harsh tar based creams which are thick, black ointments that brought little relief and left a lasting emotional mark. Watching his father endure years of discomfort and trial treatments, especially with cortisone, ignited a mission which was to create something better and something natural.

What started as an act of love has grown into a Sonatur Skin Care product for healing and restoration.

From the lush KZN Midlands of South Africa, Bruce and his family began cultivating Rose Geranium on their farm. Rose Geranium essential oil is known for its soothing and restorative properties. This became the foundation of the Sonatur Skin Care range.
