What began as an act of love
Sonatur Skin Care was born from a deeply personal journey. Founded by Bruce Taylor, Sonatur began as a tribute to his late father, who lived with psoriasis for most of his adult life.
Bruce's childhood memories are filled with the smell of harsh tar based creams, thick black ointments that offered little relief and left a lasting emotional mark. Watching his father endure years of discomfort and trial treatments, particularly with cortisone, sparked a mission to create something better, something natural and something kind to the skin.
From the lush KZN Midlands of South Africa, Bruce and his family began cultivating Rose Geranium on their family farm. The essential oil, widely recognised for its soothing and restorative properties, became the foundation of the entire Sonatur Skin Care range.
